For years one of the strongest "alternative" record stores in America, Rhino Records carries most underground labels and standouts among a wide variety of progressive, experimental and classic rock. CDs are reasonable, from $13-15, and imports and some rarities exist plus a number of random things that only Rhino Records could create. While the main focus of the store is indie, jazz and dance, often metal releases appear here at their best price available in southern California.
