This section is dedicated to the fine art of body modification via cutting, burning, and other forms of self-mutilation. The purpose of this showcase is to remove the stigma attached with these forms of body modification and to bring them into the forefront for discussion. There is no reason for shame to be associated with this behavior.

For education, check out the Secret Shame website. It does a much better job of explaining self-modification than I could although it gets a little preachy at times.

I am looking for submissions to add to this section. If you have any nice pictures of yourself cutting or performing other body modifications, please contact me via e-mail. Go ahead and scan in those pics. Break out that new digital camera and put it to some good use. Test out your new video input card by making some frame grabs of your latest self-mutilation session.

To start things off, here is a little collection of frame-grabs from a video my girlfriend and I shot during the summer of '97. It involved recreational use of some suspicious substances and a nice serrated knife (which now resides in my ex-girlfriend's silverware drawer, unknown to her :-). After creating art on each others' bodies, we decided to expand our canvas to the walls of the hallway. Everything came off with a little Windex. There are some better parts to this video that I'd like to put up but they would probably violate the TOS of my ISP and bring a lawsuit from my girlfriend.

The following pictures are a submission from that wacky Brit named Marc (egb96mg@sheffield.ac.uk). He holds the distinction of being the first guest cutter at Slice O' Life.

Here are some pics sent to me from Marrq (marrq@ack.caltech.edu). He used to have his own website but the wank forgot to tell me he took it down. :-)
