Austrian midnight trippers Summoning emerge with another epic masterpiece of Tolkien-inspired atmospheric metal in flowing melodic fast black which offers melancholy in a spirit of wandering that abandons of all known places. A nearly melodic rasp from Silenius adorns floating guitar riffs layered on keyboard within a loose and vibrant electronic beat. Individual instruments provide a lead role in unifying drifting threads of information. Each song is a series of melodies which develop into larger themes narrating journey much in the way Tolkien unspun his dark tales. Summoning create fantasy in the deathlike world of dark exploration.
