A pounding diatribe that directs its rage into impact and from that extension of change, the work of Sinister merges a nihilistic sense of broad harmony into pummeling New York style brutal death metal. Structures built from vast impact and the extension of change construct intricate conflicts of unrelenting musical difference, letting the rich harmony of their dissonant chording conclude blasting nihilistic structures. Rough-throated shout vocals churn with percussion and emphasize belligerent blast beats. Guitarwork contains amazing lead riffing as well as precision-picked technical aggression, forming a distinct muffled-strum thunderpicking sound. Hooks predominate in darkly harmonized structures of song in which melody interlaces chaos in a pounding style. Majestic and immersive, this album is an incentive to aggression.
