Insurgent hardcore grinding against social suffocation slams out anthems of resistance with powerful technique including heavy downstrumming and fast picking power chord riffs. Being from the age after punk rock the band make frighteningly detached anti-rock hardcore. A sense of humor and media terrorism in sampled news reports on brutal warfare add to the aura of resistance outlined by musical simplicity. Proto-death metal riffing, nihilistic hardcore punk, and ancient genealogies borrowed from Oi punk are present alongside savage songwriting which expresses definitive national sensibility to these UK heathens. Loud yet organized sound carries anthems of dissidence. Quintessential hardcore, the Exploited are a perfect antidote to social conditioning.
