Intensive ritual music in a mesmerizing low-intensity topography of radical change masked as an almost seasonal transferrence, this album creates an aura through insistent, punk-like technique in which it attracts attention to its continuity, and then it this atmosphere violates and distorts through subtle changes that bring encroaching horizons of alteration, suddenly. The lulling heartbeat throb of separating tones or nihilistic decontextualized rhythmic sounds, in suspension, shapes a sonic signature expected in which melodies of a neo-classical synthpop background, citing from baroque and european folk styles over two millennia of history in a modernized rhythmic and instrumental setting. When vocals occur, they are softly melded into the mix, emphasing their almost benevolent gentleness and understated emotive relevance. While the aesthetic alone is interesting, it is for the elemental yet elaborately harmonized melodic voice to this songwriting that one listens to Endura.
