A band with similar aspirations to aeronauts, Acerbus attempts to fly faster and with greater complexity and weight than ever before. Although rooted in the deathgrind genre aesthetically, the intellectual pursuit in music of this band is purely progressive and involves an intricate sense of melodic composition outside of accepted form. Consequently, this is listening material that requires an expenditure of energy to meet it half-way and appreciate its subtle powers under unsubtle prowess.
