Max Bloodworth, ahem,...I mean...Evil Chuck
Dear Brett Stevens:

I would like you to suck my immense veiny and juicy cock.
Then I would like you to bend over and let my throbbing member
pummel your tight butthole for 30 minutes 22 seconds. Finally
I want you on your knees reciting Blasphemy of Morbid Angel
while I cum all over your face.

Sincerely,

I'm going to be honest, I've felt lonely on a homosexual level for most of my life. Even though I actually have a rather wide mutual masturbation buddy rotation and have a handful of good frot companions, I feel like no-one I know sees the bum like I do, shares my standards of reciprocal ejaculation, or reveres anal submission in the same way I do. It depresses me to no end. If I had a single wish, it would be to live in a small bath house full of queens who all share my asshole, even if they aren't necessarily all 12" hung sex studs. MRR #198 grijndcore
I've spent a few months talking about politics and such so now lets get back to what sells fanzines, music.

Before I talk about Grindcore I'd like to clear the air with some terms. To someone who doesn't listen to fast aggressive hardcore, especially the metal influenced stuff, there can be a confusing array of nomenclature. Here are some terms and examples to keep everyone straight.

Crossover-Cryptic Slaughter, early Final Conflict, DRI second LP on, Corrosion of Conformity second LP on, Later Dr. Know.
Grindcore-Napalm Death, Terrorizer, Assuck, Agothocles, early Carcass.
Death Metal-Death, Entombed, Morbid Angel, mid period Sepultura, Master, Pestilence, Malevolent Creation
Black Metal-Bathory, Celitc Frost, Venom and their imitators
Speed Metal-Possessed, Death Angel, Whiplash
Thrash Metal-mid period Slayer, early Metallica, Exodus (Note it could be argued that Speed Metal and Thrash metal are really the same thing)
Metal-Judas Priest, mid period Metallica
Crust-Hellbastard, Deviated Instinct
Crusty Hardcore-Extreme Noise Terror, Doom, Disrupt, Destroy
Thrash-Early DRI, Mob 47
Power Violence-Crossed Out, Despise You

This month we'll talk about the golden age of Grindcore. Where did grindcore begin? I would place the roots of Grindcore in the fast hardcore of the early 80's (especially Siege, DRI and classic Japanese hardcore bands like Gism, Gauze and Lip Cream) and the hardcore influenced speed-metal, death metal and crossover of the same period.

To me the first and certainly one of the best Grindcore albums is Repulsion's Horrified. This didn't come out on vinyl until the early 90's. However, the influence of this band's demo was clearly present in the several of the classic Grindcore recordings. Repulsion were incredibly fast metal-core for 1985 from some hick town in the South too I believe. Who knows where they drew their influences or what ever happened to them. Totally brutal death and gore oriented metal-core which really pioneered the genre.

To truly understand Grindcore you don't really need the Repulsion LP although it would be nice. You will need the following albums, Terrorizer-World Downfall, Napalm Death-Scum, From Enslavement to Obliteration, Mentally Murdered and Assuck-Anticapital.
Napalm Death was one of the greatest, most brutal and intense bands ever. They started in the early 80's as sort of a peace punk band in the Crass/Conflict tradition but soon became more aggressive and metal/ gore influenced. The pool of talent which produced the first three Napalm Death records was to really forge the path for grinding fast music for years to come. I remember buying the Napalm Death Scum lp when it was new in '87. Fuck, that album just blew me away, totally insane speed and fury. Remember at this time DRI's "Dirty Rotten LP" was the world's fastest, most intense record. Scum took that fury to the next level. While certainly metal influenced Napalm Death was really coming from the Hardcore scene and hence I would rate them as the all time kings of Grindcore. Scum was an instant cult favorite among punk and metal kids during the late 80's. With 28 songs it was six up on DRI and so insanely brutal. Siege of Power and Instinct of Survival are monuments of grinding mayhem. Napalm Death really brought the gruff vocal style into common use as well as the crazy shout vocals. If you listen closely to early Napalm Death material you can pick up on the influences from early 80's US Hardcore bands and classic Japanese Hardcore as well, not to mention contemporary English Hardcore like Concrete Sox, Heresy and Ripchord. Still Napalm Death took it into a totally new realm of brutality. Their second album, From Enslavement to Obliteration is brutal but more of a wall of noise assault. I feel that, while brutal and aggressive, it lacked the hooks and drive of Scum. It wasn't time to throw in the towel yet though because in 1989 they released the Mentally Murdered 12". While this is more polished and produced and has more of a Death Metal feel than say Scum, it is a total holocaust head eruption of GRIND POWER. For a four song 12" this record packs more of a whallop than most band's entire careers. Now Napalm Death continued for a long time after these recordings, in fact they may still be around the metal scene yet. But the early recordings are the most essential, and brutal. After Mentally Murdered the line-up changed several times and the members each started to pursue solo projects of varying merit, thus diluting the core of the grind. Before we take leave of Napalm Death though, there is one more essential piece of Napalm Vinyl. The 1987 Peel Sessions recordings are absolute genius. These have appeared a few different times on vinyl and CD, worth tracking down is the "Double Peel Sessions" vinyl or CD. This is a really raw and ferocious document of one of the most of brutal bands ever. The "live in the studio" feel of the Peel Sessions recordings gives you a real feeling of brutal intensity, you can tell they were really amped in the studio and playing balls out, more like a live gig than a typical studio session. An important thing to remember is that although Napalm Death was a pioneering Grind band, they had roots in the Hardcore scene and their lyrics were political and very critical of the system and the establishment. As the cult of Grind grew lots of bands entered the scene from the Death Metal direction bringing with them more of a gore/evil lyrical approach. As the music started to sound more and more alike it tended to be the lyrics which made a difference in conveying the level of conviction and emotion behind the music. The intensity of the music attracted many of the same commercial interests that had recently cashed in on Cross Over and the DIY/Punk nature of the scene was soon haunted the spectre of commercialism and mainstream metal attitudes.

Definitely coming from the Death Metal angle but with pretty political lyrics was Terrorizer. Really a project band with members of Morbid Angel, Nausea (L.A.) and future Napalm Death guitarist Jesse Pintado. Terrorizer was above and beyond just about every band of the era when in came to musicianship and production. World Downfall stands as the perfect example of a Grindcore record. Gruff vocals, fast guitar, whirlwind drumming (blast beats) a total manic assault. However perfect this album may be I find its edges a little too smooth and polished. It lacks the raw and visceral intensity of Napalm Death's early work. Still this album is a masterpiece and belongs in your collection.

After Napalm Death and Terrorizer the must own classic Grindcore album of all time is definitely Assuck's Anticapital. Assuck had already released the Necro-Salvation 7" and the split 7" with OLD when Anti-Capital came out but the LP really blew the earlier work away. In fact it blows away every other Grindcore record ever made except those by Napalm and Terrorizer with whom it stands as a monument to brutal Grind. Assuck managed to combine the anger, fury and social commentary of a punk band with the musicianship and production quality of a Death Metal band the result was a total assault of manic Grind power. This album rages from hyper speed to excruciating tense slow mosh parts back to whirlwind blasts. Most impressive is that at this time (90-91) Assuck was a three piece with NO BASS PLAYER just guitar and drums. This is and insanely heavy record to have no bass on it. Insanely heavy. It still blows my mind today. I still love Assuck today but this album was a truimph that cannot be equaled kind of like Reign in Blood for thrash metal.

You could stop there, but if your thirst for classic grind continues you need the following.

Carcass-Reek of Putrefaction. Bill Steer of Naplam Death's side project (at first) really blazing fast grind and totally sick lyrics. By far the sickest cover of its day. This band really brought the gore/decay influence to fore in Grind. Carcass-Peel Sessions, more of the early brutality captured raw and energetic but in a top notch studio. Carcass-Symphonies of Sickness-Not quite as great as the first LP but really heavy and evil. Carcass went really downhill after Symphonies, last time I saw them they sounded like Pink Floyd.

Agothocles-This Belgian band holds the title for all time masters of output. Around since 1987 Agothocles has put out so many split 7"s you need to add an annex to your record room to hold them. Styling themselves as "Mince-Core" Agothocles has always been more of an underground and DIY Grind band as opposed to the more commercial stuff on Earache etc.

Bolt Thrower-In Battle there is no law. I guess this is really a Death Metal album but it is so dangerously close to grind it deserves mention in the same breath as early Napalm and Terrorizer. I'd have to classify all Bolt Thrower's other material as Death Metal but this LP (and the Peel Sessions) has enough raw fury to register as a Grindcore offering to my ears.

Master-Again really a Death Metal record but with some really brutal grind elements and certainly a cult influence similar to Repulsion on later Grind bands.

Righteous Pigs, Defecation, Unseen Terror-All projects or percussors of Napalm Death members. Defecation is the only one which really stands on its own as a Grindcore Classic, and then only in the second string, still a brutal and intense record.

Sore Throat-Unhindered by Talent- I think Sore Throat is more of a crusty hardcore band than a Grind band, but they must be mentioned for their importance at the time. Musically Sore Throat didn't really stand the test of time, really to me they are more of a novelty after ten years. However, they offered a great deal of biting commentary on the commercialization of grind music as was happening. This is especially summed up in the second LP Disgrace to the Corpse of Sid. Since Grindcore was spawned from the Hardcore Punk scene but was largely taken over by the commercial Death Metal scene it lost much of its social commentary and most of its DIY attitude very quickly (except for bands like Agothocles who sat out the commercial hype and stayed underground). Sore Throat was really funny, but also lampooned the state of the scene in a thought provoking manner. Still I think their music is closer to Crusty Hardcore than true Grindcore.

Probably the last of the truly great Grindcore Classics was Brutal Truth's Extreme Conditions Demand Extreme Responses. This is really furious balls to the wall grind. I think it has a really strong early Napalm Death influence but the level of musicianship was really up there enough to push it over the top to stand on its own as a classic. Brutal Truth's later stuff gets a lot more experimental and I feel it lacks the knockout punch of their first LP. We played with Brutal Truth not long ago and they still rip it up live.

By 1990-91 the market was totally flooded with Grind and Death Metal bands most of which came from the Metal angle and really dragged the style into a morass of repetition. By 1991 all the classics were established and newcomers could only imitate. The result was by the number formula gore bands some of whom got really popular but most of whom I can't even remember. As with any artistic or musical movement the most profligate years are the earliest when the floodgates first open. Is it not the pioneer and the visionary who is pushed to the fore in the heroic era of any medium. Yet these are soon drowned out and forgotten as the multitudes stampede to cash in and jump on the bandwagon.

MRR #182 Metal
I love the "Pioneers of Punk" section in MRR. I am a big fan of 70's punk rock especially the Stooges, MC5, the Heartbreakers, the Voidoids, Dead Boys, Pagans etc. I have to say that almost none of the bands that have arisen in the last 20 years to play this style of music come close. Perhaps there was a certain zeitgeist present in the Midwest and New York City in the 1970's that can never be recaptured. This said, as much as I love this music it all happened when I was in grade school and for me the run up to hardcore was not "Velvets to the Voidoids" rock and roll it was METAL. (All of you ex-Straight Edge kids who got into metal by listening to Integrity and missed 80's metal because your parents wouldn't let you grow your hair long or smoke pot are allowed to take notes).

My name is Felix Havoc and I was an adolescent Metalhead. In fact I think I speak for many of us who are involved in Hardcore today when I say that our nascent exposure to hardcore was from the scanty coverage of punk in Creem and Kerrang. Lets set our time machine for the golden age of MBM, that is Metal Before Metallica. Circa 1982 who was ruling with an Iron Fist? JUDAS PRIEST! Masters of all metal. Those of you scratching your heads and wondering what the fuck Felix is talking about are hereby required to get a scratched up vinyl copy of Unleashed in the East and listen to it at top volume in total darkness after drinking a six pack of warm Schaefer and smoking some of your parent's pot. Perhaps then you will understand. Until recently Metal was the music of the white working class youth. I'm not trying to perpetrate racial stereotypes or anything but the slow death of Metal has been paralleled by the adoption of black youth culture by the white youth. This leads us to the ultimate hypocrisy of upper class white kids who dress and talk urban black gangsta style down to calling each other "nigga" but who are still racist shits. Anyway here we are in 1982, blue collar suburban America. The cars Plymouth Duster, Chevy Nova (poor kids answers to Camaro and Mustang). The style long hair, boot cut jeans, bandannas, leather caps, chain wallets, white Converse in summer, hiking boots in winter, big comb in back pocket, sleeveless denim vest, and of course a concert jersey preferably a really old one from a show you couldn't have possibly attended. (most desirable Black Sabbath/BOC "Black and Blue" tour shirt Rush "Moving Pictures", any Judas Priest, AC DC or Alice Cooper). The Music Heavy Metal Stoner Rock!

While not really Metal Alice Cooper does not get any of the respect he deserves. Here is a man who took the shocking and theatrical stage show and raw loud rock to great heights. The first two albums Pretties for You and Easy Action are not so great but Love it to Death and Killers are fucking awesome. KISS are fucking posers and ripped off Alice so bad it is not even funny. All you misguided Kiss fans are grown up teeny boppers. Kiss was all hype and marketing to sell lunch boxes and belt buckles to grade schoolers. Alice Cooper continued to kick ass with Muscle of Love and Billion Dollar Babies ( covered by the Battalion of Saints and Detonators respectively) but things went downhill fast after the band quit and Alice went "solo." Those who dismiss Alice on the basis of his lackluster later albums need to do some research and check out the discs listed above.

Black Sabbath of course are hugely influential, once again not really metal but Stoner Rock. I saw Sabbath in 1981 on the Mob Rules tour, a spectacle I will never forget. The fact that this band continues to inspire legions of derivative imitations twenty years after putting out a good album is testament to their power in the world of rock. AC DC has been one of my favorite bands since I was old enough to lift a tone arm and the first band I really got into but there is a whole column devoted to AC DC that will be printed in a future issue. Rush was a Stoner Rock band until somebody got them mixed up with synthesizers, now they are a New Wave band, I got no beef with New Wave but Rush after Moving Pictures sucked. To be honest I was never really into Iron Maiden, or Def Leppard in fact I sat out the NWOBHM because the Old British Heavy Metal was still kicking my ass that is to say JUDAS PRIEST! Undeniably the Masters of All Metal. I recommend the following albums: Sad Wings of Destiny, Sin After Sin, Stained Class, Hell Bent for Leather, Unleashed in the East, British Steel, Screaming for Vengeance, Point of Entry, and Defenders of the Faith, possibly also Painkiller and Rocka Rolla. NOT recommended are Turbo and Ram it Down. Not exactly before Metallica chronologically, but stylistically we cannot forget the first two Motley Crue Lps, and vintage WASP and Twisted Sister. It has long been my opinion and the ladies of the 80's reading this will corroborate that Crue's "Too Fast For Love" is one of the all time best "make out records" no doubt tied with Highway to Hell and Back in Black. Raven deserves some credit for "Faster than the speed of light." Also worth mention is Accept even if just for the song "Balls to the Wall." Metallica almost singlehandedly changed metal with their first album. By ripping of Hardcore they created speed metal and ushered in the explosion of Metal which made the 80's truly "the Metal Years." Metallica's first two albums kick ass and I'd have to say Kill 'em All is the second best Thrash Metal record ever. However, Metallica degenerated rapidly in arena rock mediocrity and are currently indistinguishable from U-2.

Behold! The ultimate in thrash metal arose at the same time as Metallica, soon to eclipse them, yes I am talking about Slayer. I must confess I was at the Corrosion of Conformity/ Slayer show at the Loft in Baltimore in 1985 but I left before Slayer played because at the time I was in a state of Hardcore chauvinist Metal Denial (which I later overcame). To my mind the ultimate Thrash Metal record of all time is Slayer's Reign in Blood. Hell Awaits, Show No Mercy and Haunting the Chapel are also great. Too bad Slayer stayed together after Reign in Blood, I think they are still putting out albums, they will probably soon be joining Metallica in embracing mediocre pop. Metal since Reign In Blood has been in downward spiral towards obscurity, marked by stylistic decadence and mind numbing repetition of formulaic imitation. So lets go back to 80's metal. Currently in vogue is so called "black metal" so far as I'm concerned you can skip the entire black metal fad by going back to the roots and picking up the following records by Celtic Frost: Morbid Tales, To Mega-Therion, Tragic Serenades and Emporer's Return. And by Bathory the Self Titled LP, the Return and Under the Sign of the Black Mark. I personally like to take my viking helmets and Satan worship seriously but if you are into goofball parody there is of course Venom and Manowar. If you like your Satan worship mixed with opera style vocals I recommend Mercyful Fate. Also note that Anthrax was a good band for about twenty minutes at the beginning of their career and put out an awesome album called Fist full of Metal. Onslaught was one of those bands that started out punk, went metal and sucked but in between put out one good crossover album Power From Hell. Also notable in this category is Sacrilege who put out two awesome LP's Behind the Realms of Madness and Within the Prophecy before degenerating into castles in the sky sword metal. In the future I will write an entire column dealing with Cross Over (Hence the omission of Napalm Death, Cryptic Slaughter etc.) for now I will say that most cross over bands were much better at hardcore than metal, which is why this column is full of metal bands and not cross over bands. Dr. Know is about the only band I can think of which was just as good a metal band as they were hardcore. What happened to COC, The Accused and DRI when they ventured too far from their hardcore roots? I cannot write about Metal or Hard Rock without paying respect to Motorhead especially the early material. But Motorhead already have plenty of people singing their praises. When was the last time anyone out there spun Possessed's Seven Churches or Voivod's War and Pain or Roooaaar. Whiplash's drummer now plays in re-formed Cause For Alarm, no shit. I am obliged here to mention Hirax, but I must admit I was more impressed by Pushead and Mad Marc Rude's cover art than by their music. Next month perhaps I will return to hardcore but until then Death to False Metal!

Onslaught - Power From Hell green vinylJuly 14th, 2008 by ccOnslaught - Power From Hell is in some ways pretty advanced for 1985. This is the foundation that a lot of later Crust Metal and Death Metal were built upon. Released on Pusmort/Children of the Revolution originally, Power From Hell takes a relatively extreme crossover style up for its time.

There’s a good deal of COC, Discharge, and GBH in the mix here, but with heavy doses of Venom, early Slayer, Bathory, and Sodom. Onslaught were a UK band, and their influence on subsequent groups from the country, like Bolt Thrower, Hell Bastard, and Axegrinder is plainly evident, although the lyrical content, which is mainly of the demons/Satan/evil/Hell variety is totally different. I guess the main thing is that Onslaught were a little more ragged than your average Deathrash band of the day. Harder vocals, more chugging mosh riffs, and still a discernible musical connection to punk.

Of course a big reason this was snatched up by punk rockers is that it was on a punk label and had the Pushead endorsement which might have been a little more worthwhile before he was doing Cocobat CDs and weird action figures. I’d imagine for some people who picked this up, it was the first time they heard real down and dirty underground metal, and thus served as an adequate point of entry. Actually it’s worth mentioning that a lot of songs just rip off Venom and then add some chugging skank riffs to pad things out. Take for instance “DEATH METAL” not to be confused with Possessed’s song of the same name, and having very little in common sonically with the genre that subsequently took the same name. This one is basically a retread of Venom’s “Black Metal” (also very unlike what we call Black Metal now), right down to the the speed-rockin’ verse, and the ascending chorus with the repeated shouting of the song title.

The reality of it is that early Venom really is only a degree or two off the first couple GBH lps anyway, which really must have primed this for punk consumption. Impiety of the Anus Trolls - 12-06-’13 08:57

with Odin's warrior maidens,
that I trust myself to take on

But I'm not game, if I can help it,
to wager my life in warfare
with more than four dealers of death.

Guide - From Freedom To Dictatorship In 1 Year

Original by: Deskjet - Aug 21 2008

The goal of any would-be tyrant is to take away freedoms and consolidate all power into your hands so that you can truly concentrate on helping your people without any distractions.

Here are our end goals:

Frequent and very repressive tax investigations.
All taxes in place.
Only 1 labor syndicate allowed and under state control.
Right to protest is forbidden.
Level of ID checks is strong.
Surveillance cameras are above 55000, at least!
Justice completely under state control.
Death penalty allowed.
Freedom of teachers is "Indoctrination".
Criticism of state is forbidden.
Violence is forbidden.
Freedom of information in press is under state control, propaganda.
All TV channels are public.
Associations are dependent on the state.
Personality cult - all boxes checked.
Nomination of head of state is for life.
Power of parliament is "no real power"
Only one political party allowed under state control.

All of this can be achieved in under 1 year believe it or not.

How to do it:

Start out with any country that has very high PETROLreserves. I chose Russia because it also has a big military and powerful intelligence service in place, which you will depend on. Basically what you will be doing is performing a Blitzkrieg-Politics style coup, under the guise of fighting terrorism. You will distract the population while you snatch all power from under them very fast and before they even realize what hit them.

1. In your intelligence budget, put the stars to maximum under all categories, and establish several foreign cells in other countries with the purpose of 'Dismantling Terror Cells'. Some countries will not have this option, so just find ones that do. Don't create cells in ALL countries for now, just about 20 or 25. Also begin infiltrating domestic terror networks. Once a domestic network is infiltrated, wait 2 days before dismantling it. Dismantling Terror networks is by far the BIGGEST and FASTEST way to raise your approval rating. You can have protests going all over the country, than you dismantle a few networks, and the people will love you. The key is to ALWAYS BE DISMANTLING to keep the people fooled and the newspaper full of stories about your anti-terror operations. This is why we dismantle domestically and abroad.

2. While you're waging your war on terror and fooling your dumb cattle, you will now begin performing some dirty deeds, but it must be done fast while you still have 100% approval rating. Anything under 100% and it MAY not work. Propose a bill in front of congress to censor criticism of state. Look at which parties are against it, invite them over using your calendar. Than sweet talk to them. Offer coffee, tell them how good they are, and than BRIBE them $200,000 and no less. Once they take the money, ask them to support your bill. They WILL support it. Do this to all members of parliament who disagree with the bill. Some will not go for the bribe, but it doesn't matter, you just need a 51% or better to pass.

3. Once that bill is passed, you will immediately see less bad press, but that was just a warm-up, now that we know which parliament members are corrupt, we will initiate our all out attack on democracy and take over the country in under a week, so lets begin.

Perform a few more anti-terror operations.

Propose a law to have only 1 political party and ban all others. You will have some parties against this, of course. So invite them in and bribe them $300,000 and no less. Then ask them to support your bill. You only need 51% to pass it, remember.

During this time, there will probably be protests and strikes, but activate police emergency measures and establish Marshall law immediately!

Also, don't forget to keep dismantling those terror networks.

Once this bill is passed, you will have to move quickly. You will have several new terror networks in your country because of this new bill and they are relentless. Time is not on your side during this critical period...

4. Declare the following decrees, all simultaneously (press pause)...

Appointment for life of head of state
Parliament has no real power
Personality cult - all boxes checked
Associations are dependent from state
All Media is public
Freedom of information under state control, propaganda
Violence is Forbidden
Criticism of state is Forbidden.
Freedom of teachers is Indoctrination
Death Penalty is allowed.
Justice is completely under state control.
Level of ID checks is strong.
Right to protest is forbidden.
Only 1 labor syndicate under state control allowed.

While you are waiting for these decrees to take effect, keep that martial law and police emergency powers activated and tight. And never forget to keep that war on terror going strong.

5. Once all these decrees are in place, you can finally have some peace and work on creating a better world for your children. Very Happy

Invite foreign leaders using the calendar book, sweet talk to them, offer coffee and than sign sale contracts for Petrol for 1 year. You can actually sign many petrol sale contracts during one visit, might be a glitch, but all to your benefit.

Then do other things like give more money to the elderly pensions, education, health, all that stuff, just keep those smiling faces next to your ministers happy. Build up your military, invade other nations, take over the world and end world violence once and for all!

(Ironically by creating violence you stop it = We make war that we may live in peace - Aristotle) GPS strategies - 19-06-’13 08:22

The Intellectual Sex Fetish

Jul 29, 2010 6:44 PM EDT
It’s S&M for Ph.D.s: Cuckolding, in which men watch their wives have sex with other guys, is catching on among people with high IQs who revel in the psychological agony.

When he hears his wife moan with pleasure while she has sex with another man, Paul Pines feels bad—then good. When Paul’s wife tells him that the other man is much better at sex than he ever was, Paul feels worse—then better. But of course he does: He arranged this encounter, in which he watches in agony as his wife makes love to another guy. And almost as soon as it’s over, he’ll start planning the next one.

Cuckoldry is defined as a wife’s infidelity. Chaucer and Shakespeare characterized it as the ultimate shame. So perhaps it’s no surprise that today it’s developed into a fairly popular fetish. The Internet is rife with husbands enthusiastically soliciting other men—often larger, hotter, sexier men than themselves—to have sex with their wives while they watch.

“The high point of cuckolding is when your wife says she wants the other guy all the time and never wants you.”

This isn’t like swinging, and it’s not a threesome. Cuckolded men (aka "cucks") only observe their wives’ infidelities, they don’t participate. And that's why they find it a turn-on: They're left out, looking on as the woman they love climaxes with a better man than them. It’s a form of psychological sadomasochism. Some people get turned on by whips, chains, and physical pain. Cucks get aroused by mental anguish.

Cuckolding is rapidly emerging as the alt-sex fetish of choice for American intellectuals. Just check out the online forums like OurHotWives.org/forum, where letter-perfect postings celebrate cuckoldry as a cerebral pursuit, transcending ordinary voyeurism and S&M as a dangerous game involving jealousy, misery, gratitude, shame, sharing, sublimation, lust, and trust.

Once a month, Drs. Paul and Sally Pines, a pair of New York City-area Ph.D.s who have been married 25 years, check into a hotel suite with another man. As Paul looks on, Sally and the man snuggle up together on the couch like lovebirds. Soon their clothes are off, and before long, she’s wailing in ecstasy as the man has aggressive, passionate sex with her. Paul, helpless, can only watch and suffer. Afterward, Paul serves lunch to his wife and the man in the suite’s dining area; they eat in the nude before launching into another long, loud, sweaty session.

For Paul, this sort of suffering feels like heaven.

"Imagine looking at the guy who's about to go to bed with your wife. Imagine hearing the man crying out in bed with your wife," says Paul, who pleasures himself "like a madman" during these encounters. "The high point of cuckolding is when your wife says she wants the other guy all the time and never wants you. Sally's body makes it very clear that this is true. It hurts me worse to know this, so it's better to know." Worst/best of all is watching Sally bond with the other man not only physically but emotionally—when, as Paul puts it, she's "masturbating him with her mind."

This emotional bond that women form with the third party is a topic of excited discussion on cuckolding forums. One member of OurHotWives.org/forum admits being "more afraid of Susan going for a walk to the ice-cream store with a lover then [ sic] her having three different men in a week."

"If he just fucks her and goes home, that's one thing," Paul says. "But if they fuck for an hour, then have an intellectual relationship where they sit and talk for two hours afterward, it hurts a lot more."

In this respect, cuckolding attracts "the very highly educated," Paul says, adding that it’s “truly intellectual in its enterprise because it replaces sexual touch with humiliation and emotional pain, both of which are psychological. Most of what gives me physical pleasure has to go on in my brain. I'm totally being classist, but this isn't like people in redneck bars asking each other, 'You wanna fuck my wife?' It's much more complex. It's pleasure on a different level."

When, after years of pleading, he finally convinced Sally, whom he describes as "dignified and proper," to cuckold him, Paul posted a notice at AdultFriendFinder.com that began: "Seeking an intelligent man to be my wife's lover." He picked the four smartest candidates. That was 12 years ago. Watching Sally having sex with another man, "I realize how bad I am at it. And this is really hard for me to say"—at this point, his voice cracks—"but I get off on it."

Although he doesn't know precisely why he's wired this way—"I've told all my therapists I'm happy to talk with them about this as long as they promise they won't try to cure me"—Paul remembers walking in on his parents once when he was too young to realize what they were doing in bed.

"They said, 'Get out!' And I knew it was something very exciting, and that when it's going on, Paul belongs outside—that my place should always be outside of it, which is a really cool place to be."

For other cuckolds, pain isn’t the point. Some are closeted husbands who want to see naked men, whether they admit it or not. Others like the idea of their wives attracting other guys.

"Competition gets them hard," says sex therapist Susan Block, who operates a phone-therapy program especially for cuckolds to fine-tune their fantasies and strategies. "There are so many forms of substitute competition among men in our society, such as sports, that take the place of the real competition inside a woman's body," in which rival males' sperm engage in "wars" to fertilize her eggs.

"Winning isn't even that important. What's important for a man in terms of his arousal is the competition. If you're a married man, you might love your wife, but you won't get as strong an erection for her or have as strong an ejaculation if your testicles know that this woman is yours alone. Nature is conservative, so your testicles won't work any harder than they know they have to. But if your wife has been away at a conference and there's a chance that she's had sex with another man, you'll get a stronger erection when she comes home. If she has had sex with another man, that makes you really hard."

Turning this dynamic into reality through cuckolding is a mental workout "because it involves getting your mind past the jealousy"—past that touch her and I'll blow your head off reflex. Jealousy, Block theorizes, is a social construct based on the notion that husbands own their wives, and is thus "much more recent, evolutionarily speaking, than the competition that turns guys on. That's why it's mostly intellectuals who are into cuckolding: because other guys are crippled by jealousy. They're aroused and upset and don't know why."

Think your way around that, and "this is a simple and safe way to find a lover," ventures the San Francisco-based Webmaster who calls himself DotInfo and operates Cuckold-Forum.net. "Not only does a woman want it, but also her husband wants to share his wife. And they don't have to hide it from each other. It makes their relationships more clear and open.”

But there’s also a somewhat uncomfortable racial angle to cuckolding. Cruise the galleries at cuckolding Web sites and you'll see the same dynamic again and again: white husband, white wife, African-American other man. In cuck slang, these black men are dubbed "mandingos" or "bulls." Some sites, such as InterracialCuck.com, CuckoldHoes.com, and BigBlackBull.com, cater solely to this.

"It harks back to the notion of the forbidden," says Paul, who doesn't pursue this fetish-within-a-fetish himself, "and to that monstrous old stereotype in which all black men have two-foot cocks."

For Paul, it’s enough that the guy makes him feel pathetic, but he warns that the emotional scarring isn’t for everyone.

"You're playing with fire” he says. “Don't do this unless you understand that you can't take it back. Even if you never do it again, your wife will have always had that great time, and you'll both know."

SERIOUS QUESTIONER
SERIOUS QUESTIONER June 20, 2013 at 5:19 pm

I have a serious question for Brett Stevens:
Is Speed-Death Metal historically just a transitional style, meaning, that late 80s bands gradually moved from Speed Metal to Death Metal?, or is it also derivative yet established style as Power Metal is?
For instance bands like Magnus from Poland or Hellwitch from the US or Invocator from
Denmark, are they Speed or Death Metal?

Let’s say that Slayer’s Hell Awaits and Reign in Blood are Death Metal albums.
Then the music from 80s bands that take those albums as template without
necessarily ripping them off (too much) is it also Death Metal?

*Reply Brett Stevens Post authorJune 20, 2013 at 8:53 pm*

I think it was a transitional style, meaning that it was a tentative hybrid that didn’t last long because most bands went to one side or the other. If you went pentatonic and choppy rhythms, you ended up in speed metal; if you used the new riff textures as more than a contrast, you ended up in an entirely different style, which was death metal or heading toward it. Invocator sounds more speed metal “in spirit” to me than death metal, but I’m not very familiar with their work.

That doesn’t mean it’s impossible to incorporate a bit of death metal into something else, as you pointed out with the speed metal comment. A 1980s band that imported some Slayer into what was basically speed metal remains basically speed metal. The most interesting cases are Kreator and Destruction, which really were right on the line, but never could really develop a synthesized style and thus totally fell apart at some point (and with more experience, returning to a speed metal outlook, pulled it together several albums later).

THANATOS INTERVIEW
Thanatos have come along way since the thrashy early demo days to the full on Death Metal monster it is today. What was it that made you turn the corner from Speed Metal to Death Metal?

.
.

I think we still have a very strong thrash metal aspect in our music.
When we started out the term ‘ Thrash Metal ‘ wasn’t really used that much yet and we had never heard of ‘Death Metal’ until Possessed released their demo tape a
year after we started out as Thanatos. So it was a logical development for us.

We were fanatically into trading tapes and we traded or early recordings with people like Ken and Bill from Carcass, Killjoy from Necrophagia, the guys in Dark Angel, Possessed, Death, Master/Deathstrike etc, so the music we listened to and managed to get hold of became heavier, faster and more brutal along the way, so the step from Speed Metal, as we called it at first, to death/thrash metal was a natural progression.

We experimented with vocals to try and sound rawer and more brutal than on the early recordings, so we became more ‘Death Metal’ than before, but we always kept our Thrash influences as well.

@ Intellectuals are self-destructive
Glossy tabloids always write stupid articles about sex to sell more copies. The people in that article aren't real intellectuals, did you think they had a survey or something? The article is bullshit. Intellectuals are less bothered by their primal urges than those of lower intellect so those with an IQ of above 120 are less interested in sex than those below 120. And people with an IQ of 170-180 will rarely be interested in sex at all. This explains why smart people are dying out and why the general IQ level is decreasing over the decades: because stupid people are breeding at much higher rates. The writer of the article simply wants to project his bizarre fantasies on others and you're swallowing all his crap just because you've got an IQ of 110 at most and need to mask your inferiority. @ Intellectuals are self-destructive - 23-06-’13 21:17
cuckold intellectual with an IQ of over 170
I have a doctorate in physics and work the aeronautics field. My IQ is 176 and my wife has an IQ of 158. Furthermore I come from a family of highly intelligent people. My father had an IQ of 183 and he was an inventor among other things. Yet I loathe my heritage and I consider my intelligence to be nothing but a curse in this society. I can’t bring myself to pass this burden on to my offspring so I chose to remain childless. I was fortunate enough to find a woman with similar values. And similar to the article instead of trying to sustain my own pitiful ego it gives me much greater pleasure to see her body twitch with excitement and to hear her moan in ecstasy when one or several savages are acting out their lusts on her frail body while I merely sit back and watch the spectacle. But it is not a feeling of helplessness! Instead it is the feeling of passing the burden on to these strangers which gives me much more satisfaction. There’s nothing that turns me on more than seeing her breed with another man who’s IQ is no higher than 90. I’ve talked with my wife about it and she loves the idea of being pregnant with a child of lesser intelligence. It turns her on very much. We plan on not telling the brute and raising the child as if it was my own and we will probably have at least two since my wife is so excited about the idea. As for myself I am very excited because I’ll be watching my highly intelligent wife get impregnated by a group of men with low IQ’s while my intellectual bloodline comes to an end. Also, I like to listen to fake rock bands that pretend to be metal like In Flames, Gojira and Krallice. These bands are formed by morons with an IQ of 69 and hipsters that pretend to like metal music buy their albums. What I really enjoy about hipster metal is the trend to dress up in women's clothes and have sex with black well hung trannies!Like I said in my above post my wife loves brute cock, well, she's not really my wife nor do I really have a doctorate in physics but we are sex addicts for sure. cuckold intellectual with an IQ of over 170 - 26-06-’13 05:28

How to Get First-Date Sex with Girls on Every Date
by Chase Amante
Tuesday, 18 December 2012 In the comments section of "Dating Without Sex: Why It Usually Doesn’t Work," Maxz had a comment about how to get first date sex:

“Totally right on Chase.

All the girls I have lost are girls I moved slow with, and did not give them what they wanted meaning sex. After I discovered this site, I learnt my lesson in the move fast department. Every girl I meet these days I'm trying to move fast with. From getting them out on a date and so on.

But a question I had for you Chase is I'm still having trouble in the sexual escalation part. How do you get intimate with a girl on date number one and not prolonging dates to two or three before you bed a girl?”
In case you're new here and unfamiliar with the mantra of this site, it's "move fast, skip steps where you can, and take women to bed as soon as possible if you want to stand the greatest chance of keeping them around." The rationale, of course, is that it's easier to keep dating a girl you're already lovers with... than one you aren't.

But what about getting to intimacy on the first date? Can you really get first date sex with girls with any degree of consistency?

Or is it just a myth?

I have a confession to make. Before I spent much time learning about getting girls, and even for some time after, I really, truly believed that only "easy" girls slept with someone on the first date.

I believed that, if a girl went to bed with a guy, and it was only the first time they were going out together... well... clearly, she was the kind of girl who just does that with everyone!

This was not what you might call a "helpful mentality." In fact, it hurt me quite a bit. It led to me:

•Losing girls that part of me knew wanted me quite badly, because my logical mind kicked in and told me, "Look man, it's only the first date... and she's not that kind of girl! So just hold off."

•Projecting my own mentality onto women through my words, actions, and subcommunication, leading to them acting conservative and cagey around me where most of the time they were not that way.

•Making women around me uncomfortable, because they could tell that I was judging them: either a girl was a "good girl," or she was not.

You could probably just chalk this off as being the "inexperienced guy's mentality" about first date sex. True, I didn't have experience... but I was certain that this was the way it was!

When I used to talk to other guys learning how to get girls early on in my growth curve, I'd frequently hear them saying you could take "pretty much any girl" to bed quickly enough if you pushed the right buttons on her. Poppycock! I told them. I'd had some girls come to bed with me fast too, but that's because they were the kind of girls who did that! There were OTHER girls... more CONSERVATIVE girls... who simply did not go for that kind of thing.

They were different.

I was certain of it. Totally certain. But my certainty did not come from experience... it came from speculation.

And speculation is the mother of all incorrect assumptions.

You Are Your Ideals
Jonathan Haidt, a professor of psychology at New York State University’s Stern School of Business, came up with something based on his research into the mindset differences between liberals and conservatives he called the "Moral Foundations Theory." In his time spent examining the predispositions of individuals on both sides of the moral spectrum, he found six different moral foundations which influence someone's perception of the world, and how he views and feels about things morally. They are:

1.Care/harm: kindness and nurturance geared at keeping others safe and away from damage and harm.

2.Fairness/cheating: reciprocity and proportionality, generating justice, rights, and autonomy.

3.Liberty/oppression: reaction and resentment to being oppressed or dominated, and in tension with #5, authority.

4.Loyalty/betrayal: in-group cohesion, patriotism, and self-sacrifice for the good of the group.

5.Authority/subversion: deference to legitimate authority, respect for traditions, and adherence to the hierarchy.

6.Sanctity/degradation: extends out of disgust and contamination, and views immoral activities as contaminants. Leads to striving for nobility.

What Haidt found regarding the difference in the valuation of each of these six elements was quite fascinating. He found this:

•The more liberal someone is, the more the first two elements (care/harm and fairness/cheating) become all important, and the less the last four elements matter.

•The more conservative someone is, the more all six elements are weighed to be of equal importance.

This leads to some rather intractable problems when you have liberal-minded individuals and conservative-minded individuals debating with each other over one thing or another. The liberal may want to do something that makes things more "fair" for someone, while the conservative may view this action as a "betrayal" or "subversive." The liberal, in turn, wonders how the conservative can possibly support "cheating" by his opposition to the action.

What I quickly realized as I began learning seduction was that I was very conservatively-minded by nature, while almost everyone who was any kind of significant figure in the seduction field was liberal.

And we had very different ways of viewing things.

But, my goal was not to moralize; rather, it was to learn, to improve myself, and to cast aside my own prejudices and inhibitions. I could never adopt the free-wheeling (to me) mindset of the majority of seducers, but I could certainly figure out where they had points, and where I was wrong, and where I could stand to learn a thing or two.

And with time, one of the areas I learned I was wrong was with getting to sex on the first date. For as much as my conservative predispositions made me want (in those days) to believe that there are just some girls out there who cannot be "turned" to first date sex, the more experienced I gained as a seducer, the more I found myself disproving this notion, and proving the notion of my more liberally-minded friends.

First Date Sex... with Conservative Girls
When I was new to picking up girls, I assumed that most women are too conservative for first date sex. And that, if you did happen to sleep with a girl on the first date whom you thought was conservative, well... obviously, your read was off.

But, as I advanced as a seducer, I began to push myself harder to sleep with girls more and more quickly, and I began to take girls to bed more and more consistently on the first date... and many of the ones I didn't I could tell wanted me to, but I simply didn't make the move.

And I began to wonder... are all of these girls open about sex? Are all of them liberal? Every single one? At first I just assumed that if something happened fast with a girl I thought was conservative, I must have just miss read her.

But this was happening with almost every girl I got out on a date.

If I'd only been meeting girls in, say, loud, boozy nightclubs, I could chalk that up to picking up girls in a den of iniquity. That would explain it.

But I wasn't. I was meeting girls in :

•Bars
•Nightclubs
•Parties
... yes, but ALSO in:

•Bookstores
•Coffee shops
•School alumni events
•Trains and airplanes
•The street
... some of whom had never even BEEN to a bar or a nightclub.

And all these girls reacted almost exactly the same.

Some of them were quite nervous about physical intimacy, while others were clearly confident and in their element. Some of them had no idea what they were doing in bed, while others were pros. Some of them put up a fair amount of last minute resistance before we became lovers, while others virtually tore their clothes off themselves (or literally, in a few cases).

But they all had one thing in common: most of them, when I did things right, went to bed with me on the first date.

How could this possibly be, and how could women move so fast?

In the article about dating without sex, we talked about marriage as a sociocultural construct; basically, something created by culture, not by biology.

If you woke up tomorrow on a deserted island, just you and some girl, and the two of you fell in love, you probably wouldn't ever end up getting "married," because there wouldn't be much point. But you'd still do all the things necessary as biological organisms to mate and reproduce.

Well, at least with marriage, while it isn't biologically based, it's still something pretty ubiquitous throughout most of the world's civilizations. But dating...? How ubiquitous is dating?

Truth is, in most parts of Asia and Africa, "dating" as a concept does not even exist. Even in North America, the originator of dating, the tradition itself only stretches back to after the Gilded Age; it's only about a hundred years old. Prior to the turn of the 20th century, the phrase "go on a date" meant a man was buying time with a prostitute.

So when I hear all the noise and hubbub about how you "shouldn't have sex before the third date" or you see women preaching from the rooftops about how they "simply won't have sex before at least the tenth date," I write it off as ridiculous carrying on about rigid, arbitrary rules surrounding a tradition that's existed for a mere blink of the eyes in cultural time, and already shows signs of wearing pretty thin (how many people do you know who regularly "go on dates" anymore?).

There is no biological rule ingrained in the female human mind that says, "There must be three (3) discrete dates before mating may occur." No; dating is a cultural construct, with precisely zero basis in biology except for this:

Females of the species need to be able to assess a male's mating value and quality.

That's it. That's the purpose that dating serves today; it's a vetting period, to replace the courtship process of bygone years.

And all vetting procedures have three elements in place:

•A logical element,

•An emotional element, and
•A logistical element.

And if you can remove any logical objection for why a woman should not sleep with you right now... and if you can remove any emotional objection for why a woman should not sleep with you right now... and if you can remove any logistical reason why a woman should sleep right now... guess what?

She's going to sleep with your right now.

The Psychology of First-Date Sex
We get a fair amount of female commenters on this site (in light of its target demographic, in any event), representing a fairly even dispersion of opinions:

•Half of them say, "Actually, this is surprisingly true... I didn't think a men's dating site would pin down female logic and behavior so well, but you've got it."

•And the other half say, "Go screw yourself! Never in a million years would I do what you're saying women do! You don't know women AT ALL!"

(Usually I just delete the latter comments, since this is a place for well-reasoned, balanced arguments, and not for vitriol-laden diatribes aimed at relieving the angry individual's emotional angst; for the record, I also normally delete the "Women are evil and don't make sense at all!" comments from bitter men, too)

That caveat is in there just so that when you see the "Women aren't like this at all / you must only be sleeping with SLUTS but I'm a good girl and would NEVER do this!" remarks in the comments section, you know where it's coming from: women who aren't emotionally in-tune with the article.

What happens is, most women who get upset read or hear something like how women go to bed with men quickly in the right situations with the right men, and their hackles go up, they get defensive, and they react to it the way they would if someone personally attacked their ego, self-image, or reputation.

But I'm not attacking anyone personally. I'm talking about human beings, meeting, attracting, and mating.

And when a woman meets a man who makes her FEEL completely full of lust, and desire, and raw, throbbing, potent sexual need... when she sees NO REASON to object to going to bed with this man right now and taking him as her lover... when she will never see him again, and no one will ever know, and her body aches for him as it has never ached for anything else... and when it just happens, and suddenly they are alone, and he is on her, kissing her, touching her, bringing her to the point of surrender... then yes; even for a normally conservative girl, she will release her hold on logic and rigid rules, and she will take this man she longs for as her lover... even if it is the first and last time they will ever see each other.

Why First-Date Sex is the Best Sex
But why all the hoopla about sex on the first date? Why not just wait?

Because, as we discussed in "Attraction Has an Expiration Date," attraction expires. It doesn't last long... like a carton of milk, if you don't down it fast, you may just pour yourself a cup and find it's curdled. And as we discussed in "What Women Want," there really are three categories women are interested in slotting men into: lover, provider, and friend... and the longer you wait, the further out in that circle you tend to go.

That circle ends up looking like this:

The further inward you start in the circle, the better off you are from the outset with a girl. And while it is incredibly easy to move out from an inner circle to an outer circle, it is incredibly difficult to move the other way, from outside to in. It's like fighting a tide trying to pull you out to sea... you can fight it for as long as you want, as hard as you want, but eventually you will wear out, and be swept away like everyone else.

What that means for US, as men interested in being more than just women's friends or potential providers, is that we want to start in the middle - you want to strike a girl as the kind of man she finds:

•Captivating
•Entrancing
•Exotic
•Mysterious
•Seductive
•Charming

•Charismatic
•Irresistible
The more you are these things, the deeper into the circle you start, and the easier a time you will have taking a woman as your lover, partner, or girlfriend.

Now, because attraction expires so quickly, this also means you must take women to bed fast. No horsing around or dilly-dallying; if she likes you, she knows right away, and delaying things, contrary to what conventional dating wisdom prescribes, does not help your chances any.

In fact, it makes them worse... much worse.

When you hear women telling you that a man needs to take his time, move slowly, and take them on lots of date to have a chance, she's talking about having a chance as a boyfriend- or a husband-candidate. She is not talking about having a chance to be the man of her fantasies... the one who walks in, and she knows immediately that she MUST have this man, or she will regret it for the rest of her life... that man will do nothing but annoy her, frustrate her, and madden her by taking it slow.

And that man she needs no long vetting period for; meeting him on a seashore in some exotic locale, or a chance encounter on a train somewhere, or a man who walks up to her on the street, exuding charm, and confidence, and sexual power... she knows this man may not be someone she has in her life for a long time, and there isn't much sense taking him through a long assessment period. She already knows what she needs to know about him: that THIS is a man she WANTS.

First date sex is the best sex because it clears the obstacles out of your way, stops you from wasting time, stops her from wasting time, and gets the two of you in bed together, as lovers, as quickly as possible.

It gives you the freedom to take her as your girlfriend if you so please, or even as your wife. Most of the time, you must be sleeping with a woman before you can move her into any kind of meaningful relationship; and the longer time stretches on before you take her as your lover, the more remote the odds become that you will ever do so.

If it's going to happen, most of the time (there are exceptions, but we're not talking about exceptions here), it's going to happen fast.

Once you've shed the belief telling you sex doesn't happen on the first date, and realized that dates themselves are artificial cultural constructs that the mind doesn't really care that much about, or at least does not care much about when it has powerful reasons to disregard (any more than it cares about always perfectly following other arbitrary rules, like making sure you remain precisely inside the painted lines of the crosswalk as you cross the street, or that you make sure to always remain under the speed limit when driving, especially if you have compelling reasons to violate these rules), you can focus your energies onto reaching intimacy on the first date.

But... and here's the question on everybody's minds... how do you create those compelling-enough reasons that even a girl who's accustomed to rigidly, conservatively following to the letter even the most arbitrary and inane of rules will drop her rigid, conservative tendencies and simply surrender to her passions for you? How's that work?

To do this, it all ties back to those three elements we mentioned a little earlier:

1.The logical element,
2.The emotional element, and
3.The logistical element.
... in ascending order of importance. If you can handle all three of these elements, you can achieve first-date sex with nigh any girl you go out with.

Let's have a look at what each of those three elements entails.

#1: The Logical Element of First-Date Sex
Ah, logic. Something of vague and maligned importance in the world of seduction; you've heard comedians tell jokes about women not needing to make sense; you've heard the term "chick logic;" you've probably even heard me chastise you to stop using logic and start using emotions with women.

Yet, logic does serve its place: both in addressing women's objections and in setting up plausible deniability prior to intimacy. It also has a large part to play in congruency; if the things about you don't logically add up, that's a red flag to women - who are always on the lookout for lies and inconsistencies - that you aren't a straight shooter or you've got something to hide.

Logic isn't as important to seduction as emotions or logistics are, but it still has a substantial impact, and it isn't something to be ignored or dismissed.

The confusing thing for beginners at getting good with girls is that, if you're a man accustomed to talking to other male friends, logic is often the underpinning of your conversation, with emotion the window dressing. You'll have a conversation, a debate, a discussion, and it's all about advancing some rational point, or the sharing of useful, practical information. Emotions like excitement or sadness are normally just used as color to make the conveying of this information less dry.

With women though, it's the complete opposite - emotion is the underpinning, with logic the window dressing. The important thing is conveying emotionally-meaningful content - logic is just the icing on the cake to make the conveyance of that emotion presentable.

What this means for you is that, just as you use different emotions to get across whatever point you're trying to make with a man, you use different logic to get across whatever emotion you're trying to communicate with a woman.

Confused yet? Don't be. It works like this:

•The objective of a "point" in women's conversation is to convey a certain emotion, want, need, or desire.

•Logic will be adopted - whatever logic best fits - in order to best communicate that emotion in a way that seems to make sense.

•Whether that logic makes sense or not does not matter, so long as it seems to and it gets the emotional point across.

A woman might say to you, "I can't go home with you, I'm sorry... I have to get up early tomorrow," when it's only 8:30 PM at night. Logically, this doesn't make much sense - even if she's getting up at 7 AM, so long as you have her back before 11 PM, she's still going to get a full night's sleep. What she's using this logic to convey, however, is an emotion of preferring not to go home with you (for whatever reason; usually that you made a mistake somewhere along the line or didn't come across as enough of a sexy man to get her going).

Conversely, a woman might tell you, "I'm sleepy," as a prompt for you to take her home. Again, logically, this makes little sense; if she's SLEEPY, she'd want to go home and go to sleep... ALONE! Yet, most of the time you hear, "I'm sleepy," it actually means, "I want you to take me home... just the two of us." But it sounds like it makes sense, and it conveys the emotion she wants to convey, so that's all that counts.

You can quickly see why so many men end up frustrated and sometimes bitter when they first start trying to really work at their abilities with women. To a man who's thinking logic first, emotion second, too much is happening that doesn't make sense.

But with women, your logic must serve emotions, and not the other way around. That's the only way you get consistent progress with women, and it's the only way you take girls to bed on the first date.

To get women, think like a woman.

That means, you do or say what you WANT... then throw some logic over top of it as window dressing.

For instance:

•"Let's move over there, it's really crowded over here." You can use this line to move girls, and it's typically accepted without question. Seems to make sense. Except, it's useful even when it ISN'T that crowded, or the place you're moving to is MORE crowded. Because the logic ISN'T what's important here; it's the emotion ("Hey, let's go somewhere together"), with the logic simply used as window dressing to make the emotion communicated presentable.

•"Let's go for just five minutes, and then you can go, I promise." This sounds ridiculous to any man inexperienced in overcoming resistance from women who are on the fence about him; what good's five more minutes of chatting to her going to do? You might as well just let her leave. But to the man who's socially attuned, it isn't about the five minutes; the five minutes are just window dressing. What's REALLY being conveyed is, "I like you and I want you to come with me," and when the woman decides to do so, she is changing her mind and saying, "Okay... I like you too. I change my mind; I'll accompany you." It almost never ends up being just five minutes she goes with you for, and much of the time you can take this girl to bed later.

•"It's too hot in here for this." Believe it or not, this is one of those magic escalation lines you can use when a girl is resisting you taking her shirt or pants or bra or underwear off... and it works. But only when she's emotionally ready for it. What happens is, prior to sex (especially prior to first-date sex!) a lot of women's minds start racing with concerns, and their logical brains try to erect some roadblocks to sex to control their emotional brains from simply taking over and having them surrender to this man they find attractive and desirable. But as soon as you start giving reasons for your actions that the logical brain has even a smidgen of difficulty refuting, emotional overrides kick in and she does what she wants instead of what she thinks she "should" do... even if it really isn't all that hot.

That's just a smattering of examples, but you get the point. The point is, your logic doesn't need to be impeccable with women... it just needs to get the emotional point across that you're trying to communicate.

The main things you need to work around logically with women are objections:

1.Isn't it too soon for us to go to bed together?
2.Shouldn't I wait? He'd make a fantastic boyfriend.
3.I don't know if I want to risk losing him as a friend just to sleep with him.
4.It's better if my friends don't see us acting too couple-y together.
5.Do I want to give this guy more time? I don't know...
6.Should I go meet my friend as planned, or keep spending time with him?
7.Shouldn't I be getting ready to go to bed soon? I DO have to get up early.
8.Shouldn't I be keeping myself under control? I've been hooking up too much.
9.Am I sure this is a guy I like? He seems a little too slick for me.
10.Am I sure this is a guy I like? He seems a little unsure of himself.
... things like that. You need to be good at brushing objections off with quick, simple, logical-seeming replies, and then focus on addressing the emotional root of the issue.

Which brings us to the emotional element.

#2: The Emotional Element of First-Date Sex
Next up on our list is the emotional element of first-date sex, the second most important element (after logistics). What's the difference between Fabio and a creepy guy? The emotions each arouses in women.

Being able to arouse the right emotions is a key skill for not just first-date intimacy, but for anyone who wants to do anything with women at all. And it works both ways.

Skeptical? Pay attention to which woman gets more attention the next time you're out somewhere... is it the most beautiful woman... or the most sexy woman?

It's surprising if you've never paid much attention to it before, but the most sexy woman is almost never the most beautiful woman. Beautiful women are women who've simply been born with good genetics; sexy women are women who've worked to turn themselves into individuals who inspire the right emotions in others. The result? Most of the leading actresses in Hollywood are sexy, not beautiful, and most of the most alluring women you'll see in real life are too.

Sex appeal; something that's learned, not something innate. Things like charisma, charm, elegance, luster; the things that make you most emotionally appealing are the ones you can learn.

Most of these we've discussed fairly in-depth on this site already; for review, here they are:

Some of these are things you can tweak fairly easily; some of them take time. These are the fundamental aspects of you, how you come across, and the feeling you give women. There are other aspects of hitting the emotional triggers to get women primed and ready for intimacy quickly, however; and we've covered these in most of the following articles on the specifics of your interactions:

•Get to Know a Girl: Connection-Building Tactics
•Secrets to Getting Girls: The Art of the Deep Dive

•How to Be Playful: 4 Tips You'll NEED
•How to Flirt with a Girl

Seem like a lot to cover? It should... this is the part of seduction most guys get wrong. And, it's the hardest part to get down. How do you inspire the right emotions in the women you meet?

There are no shortcuts to getting the emotional element down - you've simply got to chip away at it. Anyone who tells you you can reliably take girls to bed on the first date without taking time to get down the emotional element first is leaving out a big part of the picture.

You can get girls in bed with your quickly when you're not strong with emotions... but it's going to be rare, and it's going to be hard. By becoming the kind of man women respond to emotionally - that they desire, long for, and find attractive - and by interacting with women in a way that most inspires they excitement, intrigue, and interest, you enable yourself to begin pulling off rapid seductions increasingly quickly, and increasingly more easily.

#3: The Logistical Element of First-Date Sex
Now for the most important element.

But wait, you say; with all the emphasis we just put on the emotional element of getting to sex quickly... and with as much comprehensive coverage of the entire interaction, conversation, and seduction as logic and emotion together have... how can we possibly say that logistics are the most important element to quick, first-date sex?

Simple: by pure default, if you have no logistics, you cannot have sex.

You can sleep with a girl if your logic is bad, if she's already decided she wants you anyway.

And you can sleep with a girl if your ability to inspire the right emotions in her is non-existent, if she's in the right mood or you fill the right place in her life then and there.

But you cannot, under any circumstances, take women as your lovers if you don't handle logistics.

Logistics, of course, are your ability to guide a woman through the physical and social hoops and obstacles you'll encounter on the road to getting together, and your ability to arrange things so that the two of you end up alone somewhere that you can consummate your attraction. Without logistics, you will never get together.

Still not sold on the importance of logistics? Two points:

1.You can take women to bed who have zero sexual interest in you and don't much like you as a person at times if your logistics are handled properly. This is the situation where you get a girl alone together with you, begin to physically escalate with her, and she simply says in her head, "Eh, why not." And believe it or not, this happens a lot more often than most men think it does! And the only way you realize this is by A) handling logistics, and B) inviting women home with you even when it seems they're not all that into you.

The results are, at times, shocking... girls who seemed incredibly interested simply won't go, and girls who seemed completely disinterested go home with you and go to bed with you. You really can't trust reactions to figure out which girls are most likely to become your lovers, at least not early on in your seduction career.

2.You can have women who are raring to go with you, but if you can't handle logistics (and if she can't either... women occasionally will handle these for you, but it's uncommon, and you can't depend on it), the escalation window frequently passes and you've moved out of the lover circle and into the provider or friend one.

How do you handle logistics?

1.Get an apartment (or hotel) nearby to where you're meeting women or taking them on dates

2.Get a solid process

3.Follow your process

You see me harp on here on process from time to time. What is process? It is, in a nutshell, your logistical plan for the date. This is the series of steps you're taking women through, logistically, and it's the logistics of pulling and closing things out you need to follow to take women from strangers to lovers.

To get a solid process put together designed to take you directly to intimacy at the end of your first date, see "Simplify Your Dates."

How Hard Is It to Sleep with Girls on the First Date?
Well, that depends on how good your:

1.Logical communication (as window dressing),
2.Emotional communication (as the underpinning), and
3.Logistical setup (for leading, guiding, and closing)
all are.

If this is too much to work on and you don't know where to start... start with the date template laid out in the article on simplifying your dates and go from there. Start with logistics - they truly are the most important part of things. You can get girls without logic, and without emotions, but you can't get them without logistics.

Once you're in good shape on logistics, focus on getting the emotional element of your seductions handled - those are your fundamentals, and your "game." How you come across with women, and how you communicate.

Least important - but still significant - is the logical window dressing; this is for addressing objections and for making it easier for women to go along with the logistical plan and your emotional objectives.

Okay, So How Do I Sleep with Her on Date #1?
If you still need something simpler to run off of, try this:

1.Propose a date with her when you get her phone number
2.Text her with simplicity and purpose, and use texts as a tool to set up dates only
3.Follow the guide on simplifying your dates and pick somewhere nearby to meet
4.Focus on deep-diving, chase framing, and good conversation on the date
5.Use sprezzatura, obey the Law of Least Effort, and get her investing
6.After you've built enough of a connection (1 to 3 hours), invite her home
7.Once back at your place, kiss her within 10 minutes of getting home
8.Escalate physically, handle any objections, and be a good lover to her
Follow those steps, and you stand a far, far better chance than the average of taking girls to bed on the first date. And, combine those steps with solidly handled logical and emotional elements... and you'll get first-date sex with girls on just about every date.

*Obtained Enslavement - Witchcraft*

> Symphonic contrapuntal hate - 97%

Obtained Enslavement's Witchcraft fulfills the "symphonic black metal" label much better than most other bands of that tag. It is symphonic not only in its use of synthesized strings but also in the diverse instrumentation and extensive use of counterpoint and development of themes. It is black-metal in that it has hateful vocals, sinister atmosphere, and composition based on tremolo-picked guitar riffs. In fact, this exhibits symphonic qualities to a higher extent than a typical symphonic metal album, while simultaneously being more black-metal than a typical black metal album. The synthesizer usage is extremely heavy, and at the same time the guitars are employed to a greater extent than on almost any album. This even has imaginative drumming, and the production gives a raw feeling but each instrument, including the bass, can be clearly heard. It sounds too good to be true, but it is true.

The most unique quality of this album is its counterpoint. This is very likely to be the most contrapuntally elaborate album in the history of metal, and perhaps even in the entire realm of popular music. Contrapuntally it even beats a lot of accomplished classical pieces. There are two guitars, a bass guitar, and a synthesizer and these work independently but cooperatively; sometimes one of the guitars or the bass would follow the main riff, but at any given point you can expect to hear some counterpoint, likely with the synthesizers providing atmospheric backdrop in the distant background, and often it goes up to triple or quadruple counterpoint. During this incredible barrage of counterpoint, each voice retains a high degree of melodic complexity; even a single guitar line extracted and played alone, with the addition of vocals and the drums, would make for interesting music, and yet there are three more layers of melody. Again, it sounds almost too good to be true, and one may expect each voice to be disjointed, resulting in chaos. No, this isn't exactly Bach (and, unfortunately, there are no fugues), but each voice never sounds out of place. There is a sense of overwhelming, with the sheer complexity and the number of events going on simultaneously, but it is never chaotic.

Onto the individual voices: the two guitars work together in various ways. Sometimes one of them repeats a short phrase and the other plays a longer phrase, sometimes they compete with each other with melodies of equal phrasal length, and sometimes one of them takes more of a lead role while the other provides a simple wall of sound for harmonic purposes. The great majority of the riffs are tremolo-picked, but there are a few instances in which some slower one-note riffs and arpeggios are employed. The guitar sound is raw, but instead of being fuzzy it is thin, and this permits the contrapuntal texture to come out clearly, while the contrapuntal texture in turn compensates for the thinness of tone, owing to the fact that the strata of different melody lend deepness to the overall timbre. The synthesizer takes the form of not only the usual strings and choirs, but also organs, harpsichords and pianos. The choir and the organs are generally heard faintly in the background, providing simple homophonic harmony, while the strings, harpsichords, and pianos take the lead role, either playing a melody similar to that of the guitars but more elaborate, or playing something entirely different, with the amount of melodic content sometimes almost verging on soloing. The piano is also frequently employed to play chords that give harmonic elaboration to the melody of the riff. In addition, the synthesizer often plays different voices simultaneously, so even when the piano is on display with full melodic force often some sort of string accompaniment can be heard, perhaps with the choirs in the background. The bass, while not prominent, is audible and compositionally significant. Rhythmically it is not rapidly picked like the guitars but follows the beat provided by the drums, and melodically it either follows the one of the guitar lines or provides counterpoint.

The non-melodic voices – the vocal and percussive parts – live up to the standard of performance set by the melodic ones. The vocalist is none other than Pest, and while the peak of his performance was captured in Gorgoroth's Under the Sign of Hell, he still delivers utter hatred here. His serpentine vocals are quite high-pitched and piercing, but not very thin, and full of aggression. Narrated vocals and clean vocals are also employed in a few cases, but the vocal highlight is definitely the laughter reminiscent of those of witches (remember, the term was archaically not gender-specific). The percussion includes the use of timpani (which greatly enhances the atmosphere), heavy usage of the bass drums, and numerous drum fills – almost a fill per a phrase. Due to the reign of tremolo in the realm of the guitars which obscures the rhythm, the drumming is responsible for providing most of the rhythmic drive, and this aspect is exploited to a great extent; often the drums will switch the meter, usually from triple to duple, during a single section, and sometimes the drumming relaxes into a slow beat, lending spaciousness to the otherwise very thick atmosphere, or breaks into a blast beat, creating a powerful upward drive that results in a wider view of the imaginary landscape.

Almost all guitar riffs are beautiful black metal riffs with well-defined melodies, and except for perhaps one riff, there are no death metallic, chaotic and abstract riffs, but generally aggression and morbidity are retained. There is a sinister and somewhat oriental vibe in the melodies, and the phrasal lengthiness allows unpredictable but logical twists that strengthen the occult mood to take place within each phrase. The slower riffs usually feel folk-like, though the "folk" here is close to the sense in which it may be applied to some of the riffs by Burzum or Graveland, not folk metal. A possible criticism would be that some of the riffs are lacking in darkness and malice. However, these riffs, flowing naturally from and into other riffs and retaining the medieval atmosphere, are never out of place, nor overtly flowery or saccharine. The raw guitar tone also helps in maintaining the black-metal feeling, and the contrapuntal complexity prevents even the brighter riffs from sounding shallow or simplistic. The contrapuntal richness certainly is not confined to the abstract realm of musical notations; it translates itself into richness in atmosphere. If an average black metal album is a bleak forest at night, then this is a bleak forest at night with wildfire burning bright, serpents crawling underneath, and starlight shining faintly from the black sky.

Structurally, there is very little repetition, yet the songs are extremely coherent. Excluding the symphonic intro and piano outro, there are seven songs, three of which are completely linear in structure (in these, a section that appeared once does not appear again). The other four ('From Times in Kingdoms,' 'Witchcraft,' 'Torn Winds From a Past Star,' and 'The Seven Witches') have a section or two from the first half of the song reappearing in the second half, but in a different context. The term "section" is more appropriate than "riff" or even "theme" here, because for each main riff (assuming, for the sake of argument, that a single voice can be identified as the principal one in a given section), there is often an accompanying guitar riff, a bass riff, and a synthesizer riff. The number of distinct sections average on eight per song, which is quite a number considering that most albums don't even have eight distinct riffs per song; the number of themes on the entire album would easily add up to more than a hundred, and the number of riffs could possibly even break the record of Time Does Not Heal if every slight variation on the themes is counted as a riff (and that is how Time Does Not Heal gets 246 riffs). Although three songs have no reappearance of past sections, it does not mean that they are not rich in development, because each and almost every section contains development in itself. Generally the guitars lead the melody at first and then the synthesizers slowly build up, finally breaking in with full melodic complexity, but sometimes the guitar melodies themselves, while retaining resemblance to its original incarnation, are developed into more elaborate forms, and the aforetime mentioned change in meter by the drums are another device of variation. Each section generally consists of at least two different incarnations, with some cases in which more than four of them are present, and occasionally some melodic hints would be given by the synthesizers before one of the guitars fully takes on the idea and transforms the potential into a full guitar riff.

This description could give the impression that each section is clearly separate from each other and permit the inference that hence the music as a whole would be disjointed, but that is not the case at all. While this is still a metal album with riffs that are more or less distinct phrases on paper, the transition from one section into another is, excluding an average of one case per song of rather clear distinction that does serve compositional purpose, extremely smooth that one barely notices it at all, let alone feel any disjunction. This effect is caused first and foremost by the melodic relevance between the preceding and succeeding sections, but also by the fact that each section contains lengthy phrases, rich melodic content, numerous voices with independent lines, and tremolo picking. Since each section is complex in itself with little sense of repetitiveness, a change from a section to the next may be mistaken, consciously or subconsciously, for a change within the section, and tremolo picking provides rhythmic uniformity between the sections. The few transitions definitely noticeable (though usually not any more noticeable than the average riff change in metal) are meaningful in allowing just enough breathing space and announcing the dawn of a new mood, and even these are, except for a single case, very natural and do not feel drastic at all. The one drastic change (comparable to the second riff of Abigor's 'Battlefield Orphans,' which is also the only really sudden change in the otherwise perfectly connected album Orkblut) occurs in the song 'Witchcraft', and that short and thrusting riff works because it connects the slower section of the song to the aggressive reappearance of the first riff.

In many ways, this is like Abigor, itself one of the greatest black metal bands: flowing tremolo riffs dominate, beautiful yet aggressive melodies abound, vocal delivery is full of hate, the timpani is used extensively, the two guitars are often contrasted with each other, and the song structures are extremely non-repetitive. Add to this some very rich counterpoint and relentless thematic development, and you have Obtained Enslavement's Witchcraft. The degree of perfectionism exhibited is astounding on every single level; it is bombastic and epic, but pays an incredible amount of attentions to the details. It sounds ridiculously good on paper; it sounds ludicrously good when heard.

Anus
What is the basis of the “science” of psychiatry, as it has been formulated by its Jewish founder and patron saint, Sigmund Freud? The basis of psychiatry is the “anal complex”, the theory that an obsession with the anus is the principal influence in our emotional development. Many millions of words have been written on this subject, despite its distasteful connotations, and learned speeches about the anal compulsion are delivered by scholars before the worlds learned bodies of distinguished men.
