The only thing allowing intellectually inferior people to vote will achieve is a massive increase in welfare spending and an ever quickening pace of cultural degeneration. Why would anyone believe that merely allowing the maximum number of largely uninformed people to cast votes will automatically result in a favorable outcome? The question is rhetorical, of course. The above is an oversimplification but it will do. The fact is that mob rule is a guaranteed way to get to the lowest common denominator.
Interestingly, this is what people want -- they want a neutered government, no restrictions on themselves, and no agenda or ideology or culture to interfere with the profit-making process. Unfortunately, they forget that (a) these same rights are extended to degenerates and (b) a society of no goals quickly corrupts all of its people by making them self-serving, short-sighted and vapid.
