09 05 10 - 19:13Theodor Herzl is the father of Zionism. Right now, your media and your movies are telling you that Zionism = fascism, Nazism or worse.
And in part, they're right: Zionism and Nazism are both nationalist movements, or the idea that a nation is defined not by political borders but by the organic similarity of its population in all of the following: values, customs, language, culture and heritage/ethnicity. Most people are OK until you get to that last part. They hate the idea that they or someone like them might be excluded for something that, while it is not their "fault," is also integral to who they are.
Herzl founded Zionism to solve an age-old problem: Anti-Semitism, or hatred of Jews, the Jewish religion and culture, or people descended from the Jewish lines.
Herzl witnessed mobs shouting "Death to the Jews" in France, the home of the French Revolution, and resolved that there was only one solution: the mass immigration of Jews to a land that they could call their own.
Herzl concluded that anti-Semitism was a stable and immutable factor in human society, which assimilation did not solve.
Herzl argued that the essence of the Jewish problem was not individual but national. He declared that the Jews could gain acceptance in the world only if they ceased being a national anomaly. The Jews are one people, he said, and their plight could be transformed into a positive force by the establishment of a Jewish state with the consent of the great powers. He saw the Jewish question as an international political question to be dealt with in the arena of international politics. - Theodor Herzl, Jewish Virtual Library
In other words, the cause of anti-Semitism was not either (a) Jews or (b) non-Jews. It was a reaction to the fact that Jews were visitors in every nation, but not of the majority there. As a result, the conflict between values systems engendered hatred. Jews could not assimilate -- adopt the culture amongst which they lived -- without destroying who they were as Jews; they also could not demand that the majority accept them without fragmenting that majority, or destroying who those people were as members of a nationality.
Our modern time is one of not making decisions, but letting our demands for "tolerance" cause us to blow off problems that then linger for centuries. Can't offend anyone, you see. But as the modern time winds down, and we see the consequence of having no dominant majority culture is that we are dependent on laws, and where loopholes or lax enforcement exist, people then rebel against the source of laws and act badly, people are open to considering other options.
The future of humanity is an entirely different order. It will be traditional, or having truths expressed in parallel among religion, culture and science. It will be ethnocultural, or each nation defined by a single ethnic group. It will not be ascientific, but it won't rely on "scientific management" or any of the other hoaxes. Even more, it will have far lower law enforcement, because with a cultural consensus, individuals have a mandate to restrain those who act against that consensus.
A society that thinks dumping toxic waste into a river is bad doesn't need to wait for the cops to be called -- they open fire. And when you consider that the toxic waste dumper would otherwise probably not be caught, and if he was spend two years in prison and five in therapy, you can see that the penalties are "for real" under the future society but a slap on the wrist in our current one.
Theodor Herzl was, like most true visionaries, far ahead of his time. In his heart was love for his people and his adoptive cultures, and a deeply ingrained pragmatism that allowed him to not think of how much anti-Semitism scared him, but to look at it as we would a lab experiment. What causes it? How do I remove that cause?
Right now, Jews are a target of the left because Jews tend to be smarter and wealthier than many of their host nations, and in Israel, there's a population of Jordanian-Syrian-Egyptian extraction that trails the Jewish population by ten IQ points on average, and therefore, is their manual labor hiring pool.
The result has been open ethnic conflict for some time. Herzl's solution would have eliminated this problem, and if you swap the word "Jew" with the name of your own ethnic group, you'll see that it will work for every nation on earth.
