Sometimes, the truth is not pleasant. We then have a choice to pick a pleasant lie, or go with a more complicated truth in which we have to look to the long-term to find the good.

Conservatives censor what they consider harmful, on a spiritual or personal level. Liberals censor everything that is not liberalism, and they do it with informal deals like the above. It's hard to prove. And yet, you never see anything but what they want you to see.

I think the point here is that liberalism/leftism is more authoritarian than they want people to believe. The difference between liberals and fascists is that liberals preach 'freedom' while fascists are more honest about their agenda. Just because you can vote doesn't make you free.

I'm lovin' the teenage angsty attitude with the one liner sarcasm that's been prevalent here. Mostly from the anti-anus side. It shows the psychology from the standpoint of people who are defined by what they hate.
