British teenagers are among the most likely in Europe to report heavy drinking and being intoxicated.The report called for higher taxes on alcoholic drinks, proportionate to the amount of alcohol in the product and an end to “irresponsible” promotional activities such as happy hours and two-for-one offers.

Hmm - it couldn't be an attempt to get us used to being tee total like...er....Muslims, could it? Probably not, but Muslims will be all for it nevertheless.
Clearly something should be done to curb the irresponsible drinking, but there are worse problems affecting society and people will end up brewing their own.
