Migrant workers 'find it easy to get British work permit despite controls'
29 05 08 - 02:52 Migrant workers find Britain is still one of the easiest countries in which to obtain a work permit, despite the introduction of a new system designed to tighten UK border controls, new research has found.Britain came 16th out of 20 global economies ranked in descending order, with one being the strictest, in a survey by Sarah Buttler Associates (SBA), the business immigration experts.
The US was deemed to have the strictest immigration policy and only three countries - Japan, Australia and Thailand - were considered to be less strict than the UK.
