Free and legal metal downloads

Bands are getting sick of the battle between record labels and the law, who insist we all use stupid DRM/copy protection, and fans who download everything and pay for nothing.

It's time for us -- the excluded middles, the silent majority -- who download a ton of stuff and then buy the 1% that isn't outright crap, to speak up.

One good way to do this is to list the free and legal downloads that metal bands are offering.

I'd like a thread that listed just the better quality bands...

Well, another idea is to simply look at the bands who offer full albums to be downloaded from their site without charge. Here are some:
