CANNIBAL CORPSE- America will bleed once again! Cannibal's most crushing

VADER
have changed the title of their forthcoming album from "Epitaph" to
"Revelations". The band's first CD with ex-HUNTER four-stringer Simon

MEGIDDO
will start recording their 2nd album on March 8th and expect it to be
complete by the end of March. The tracks will be 3 demo songs, 4 new
tracks and 2 covers (Witch Hunt by ONSLAUGHT and Dance Of the Dead by
WARFARE). They also plan to finish recording a few more cover tracks of
BEHERIT, MAYHEM and BURZUM.
NUNSLAUGHTERs
plans to record in March have been pushed back. Sadist will be helping out
the band 9 Shocks Terror on tour in California for almost a month. On his
return we will start rehearsing again and we are looking to get into the
studio in May to record GOAT.
We have agreed to release our `Waiting to Kill Christ` demo on FROM
BEYOND. The release will be limited to 500 vinyl double LP's and 1000
CD's. Among our other releases.......... The NunSlaughter / Centinex `Hail
Germania` will still be released by PAINKILLER but now will be a split
picture 10`. Our Demo series of 7`s has been taken over by REVENGE
PRODUCTIONS. Dani assures me that as soon as he can he will release `The
Guts of Christ` demo as well as the others. I am sure with him at the helm
this will go smoothly.
Our `ONE NIGHT IN HELL` LP's are out on IRON BONEHEAD. They look great.
Patrick has fixed the problem that the CD version suffered from and now
the art can be viewed in all its glory. He will also be releasing the LP
version of `RADIO DAMNATION` originally release by Barbarian Wrath. Both
LP's are limited to 500 copies only so get one soon.
NunSlaughter would also like to send our thanks out to the mighty GRAND
BELIALS KEY for making the most offensive LP `Judeobeast Assination`. Even
though they were boycotted NunSlaughter stands strong behind our brothers
of filth. Thanks for making metal!
WIND OF THE BLACK MOUNTAINS news:
The new cd, 'Black Sun Shall Rise', is awaiting the arrival of the lyrics
to Moribund from Tchort, to finish the packaging. So, it may be a while
before the cd is released now. lol. Only time will tell. The recordings
for 'Feasting Upon Christ' and 'Forest of Holocaust' have also been
delayed due to adding a new member to WOTBM, and wanting to make sure
noone will be disappointed in the least bit with what is to come from us!
We have added Tony from Ezurate into the line-up on guitar, and he's been
busy learning everything. This now makes us a 3-piece and ready to hit the

There's only 3 songs there at the moment, one from each album recorded so
far. But we have a couple more of the new songs waiting approval, and they
should be up within the next week. The promo paks are on the way to clubs

It has just been confirmed that ROTTING CHRIST are the main support to
MY DYING BRIDE at will, surely be a rammed to the rafters, rarer than
rarity, one off at The MEAN FIDDLER on Saturday the 27th of April 2002,
their first visit to the UK since St. Valentines Day (14th of February)
1999.
The one-off show comes literally days before they head into the studio
to record the follow up to their "KHRONOS 666" (77294-2), album that was
released on the 4th of August 2000.

As must of you already know, Quadrivium offers many services like, graphic/web designs, recording studio and now, we will be offering video production for music videos, tv commercials, documentaries, short films, etc... Thanks to this service we will be releasing profecional music videos from our bands. SOL EVIL will be the first band to record one of this videos.
More news about SOL EVIL, the band is thinking in re-recording the CD once more for internal matters... A release date will be given on the web site and we will within that dead-line. The CD is one of the most awaited and most powerful in the 20002.
We would also like to let you know that MORBOSIDAD's self title CD is SOLD-OUT and there wont be any more of those CDs under Quadrivium. Contact the band for future plans for that recording. that means there are quite a few great news to share with!
Breaking news
Ledo Takas Records has inked a licensing deal with Black Lotus Records
about the vinyl LP edition of latest masterpiece IV Malice by Hellenic
blackmetal gods, the glorious Necromantia!!! You read it right, man. And
we are very proud to announce that!!!
Bloodred vinyl will come with one bonus track (cover of Omen, Death
Rider) and will be limited to 666 hand-numbered copies, coming with huge
insert with lyrics and stuff like that! Tentative release date is
April/May’2002.
! Obtest Auka Seniems Dievams LP version is finally available starting
from February 2nd 2002!!!
Again delayed, the vinyl envelope was finally pressed and it looks
simply killer! Black vinyl is wrapped in super strong laminated paper,
and there is a separate sheet with lyrics enclosed too! Vinyl is limited
to 333 copies and includes one bonus track: live version of classic demo
song Oldness Coming, so book your copy now, or never get the chance to
receive it again! The price is 14$ + postage. CD version is available
for retail and wholesale orders as well.
So far new Obtest disk has received excellent critics from worldwide
press and fans, and have already scored interviews for Grindzone
(Italy), Metal Shock (Italy), Psicoterror (Peru) and others are
literally coming in!!!
The band will officially present Auka Seniems Dievams album in a
grandiose show organised in Vilnius on March 9th, and will play almost
all the songs written throughout their career.
! More news for Obtest maniacs. Ledo Takas has scheduled to press a
limited edition of Obtest t-shirts with new album‘s motif. This must
happen in mid spring, when weather gets warmer, at least in this part of
the world, but start to keep an eye on this affair.
The band is writing new tunes for a possible new release, which might
take form of 7" or a split album. If not, then those tunes will be put
together later for the third album of the band.
Ledo Takas has also plans to re-release the entire back catalogue of
Obtest, including their demos and first album Tukstantmetis, but this is
just plans for the future.
! Bloodshed Skullcrusher 7”ep is finally released on February 2nd
2002!!! Yes, design for vinyl envelope has been in works for too long
time, but final result looks indeed promising! I remind that vinyl is
limited to 666 hand-numbered copies, and vinyl colour is bone white! For
DEAD people exclusively! It was licensed from Code 666 Productions that
has released the same Bloodshed Skullcrusher recording in digipak mcd
version. It is four unbelievably powerful tracks, recorded in the famous
Stockholm studio Sunlight, with Jocke Pettersson (ex. Dawn drummer)
engineering and mixing the release. Their furious deathmetal includes
all the best that was created by such bands as Dissection, Dawn, Marduk
and Setherial. 7”ep costs 6$ + postage.
! Dissimulation are close to start recording their long awaited debut

EXODUS FRONTMAN PASSES ON
Paul Baloff of Bay Area thrash legends, Exodus, tragically passed away on
Saturday, February 2nd due to the results of a brain aneurysm he suffered
the
Thursday prior. With his body temperature soaring to nearly 110 degrees,
doctors could do little to help. Baloff was 41 years old. Metal Maniacs
extends its condolences to his family, friends and devout followers
through
out the metal scene. Rest in peace.

THE CANCER CONSPIRACY ANNOUNCE NATIONAL TOUR
February 4th-Burlington Vermont's The Cancer Conspiracy, instrumental trio
who play atmospheric Rock that combines elements of Prog, Jazz and Punk
announced national tour dates today. Hot on the heels of the release of
their
debut album "The Audio Medium," (Big Wheel Recreation) the band will take
their show on the road starting with a quick east coast stint alongside
Toronto live House Music/Prog act The New Deal. The Conspiracy, whose own
music defies easy categorization have already played with acts as diverse

Oysterhead, The Soul Brains, ISIS, Southern Culture on the Skids, Cave In

Lake Trout and look forward to the chance to play for the likeminded

The Hellacopters Sign To Gearhead Records
Swedish rawk kings The Hellacopters have signed to Gearhead Records in
America. Gearhead will release their last studio album, High Visibility,
for
the first time in the States on March 19th. High Visibility was recorded
at
Abba's legendary Polar Studio and released worldwide (except US) via
Universal in 2000. The record went gold in Sweden, received a Swedish
Grammy
Nomination, and made numerous Top 10 lists as album of the year. The band
is
looking forward to a stateside tour in the Spring to support this
release.Gearhead has been a longtime supporter of the Scandinavian Rock
scene, through both Gearhead Magazine and the Gearfest rock and
roll/muscle
car shows held in Stockholm, Helsinki and Oslo, and for the first time
this
summer, in Austin, Texas.

HIGH ON FIRE COMPLETE NEW ALBUM; ANNOUNCE TOUR
HIGH ON FIRE have completed their forthcoming record, titled Surrounded by
Thieves.
Surrounded by Thieves was recorded in California's Prairie Sun Studios
with
long-time producer Billy Anderson (NEUROSIS, MELVINS) and mixed at San
Francisco's Different Fur Studios. The final track listing is "Eyes and
Teeth," "Hung, Drawn and Quartered," "Speedwolf," "Yeti," "Nemesis,"
"Thraft
of Caanan," "Surrounded by Thieves" and "Razorhoof".
Guitarist / vocalist Matt Pike commented, "Surrounded by Thieves is the
most
interesting album I’ve ever made. We've stepped up the songs to a whole
new
level". HIGH ON FIRE's Surrounded by Thieves will be released worldwide by
Relapse Records on May 28th and will be distributed in the US via Caroline
Distribution.
Additionally, HIGH ON FIRE has announced a Spring 2002 tour. The dates
will
commence on March 6th, in Laramie, WY and will include a performance at
the
2002 SXSW Festival, where they will headline the Relapse Records showcase
on
Saturday, March 16th at Emo's.

Eso-Charis is in stores now! Matthew Putman and Arthur Green, before

Living Sacrifice, played in a seminal hardcore band that established quite

tinged hardcore with passionate lyrics and often quiet emotional
interludes.
Like most great things, Eso-Charis came to an untimely end and members

their separate ways. Some records don't stand the test of time, the

Diabolical crush your senses with the kind of molten metal that only
Swedes
can deliver. Disjointed and going to extremes on their eight tracks of

destruction, these guys carve out a technically brilliant display of
thrash
and death metal that would remind you of stuff that Carcass would have

if they were still active ("Drowned In Blood"). Stellar breakdowns and
guitar acrobatics are accompanied by blood curdling screams and skull

RAWK AND ROLL
LUNASOUND
Roadsaw is an American band who has sought refuge in the hard rock scene
of
Sweden, and in turn, have come out swinging with 12 tracks chock full of
nitro burning rock and roll. Sounding like a heavier, meaner 80's metal
troupe (think Hanoi Rocks or LA Guns before their hits), with a jolt of
70's
arena rock complete with keyboards thrown in ("Foot"), this quartet stomps
with AC/DC-esque abandon ("Bad Ass Rising") sans the flashy fretwork and
throws out rhythms more solid than the obligatory holiday fruitcake.
While
Roadsaw's full throttle attack isn't going to produce world peace of save
the
seals, it's definitely worthy of a horned hand thrown into the air and
perhaps a few yowls of appreciation ("Disconnected"). For those about to

mind blowingly crushing in others ("Troops Under Fire"), this album is the

When you think of seminal NYHC outfits, obviously Warzone, AF, Sick Of It
All
and countless others come to mind. However, Queens, NY's very own No
Redeeming Social Value have carved their niche into the scene as well, as
their latest CD chronicles the band's decade long stint as the court
jesters
of the NYHC community. Containing classics like "Fabio", "Skinheads Rule"
and "Your Boyfriend's A Guido" among countless others, it not only shows
the
massive output of NRSV, but it has a lot of rare and live stuff that is
hard
to find. No fan of hardcore and punk should be without No Redeeming's Old
E
swigging, party hardy, frat boy antics, if not for their sense of humor,
then
for the skull crushing punk and hardcore anthems. Even though NRSV's
output
is generally lighthearted, what can't be denied is their place in the
annals
of hardcore's hallowed halls, and 40 OZ. OF HARDCORE rightfully puts them
in

SLAUGHTER AND THE DOGS
BEWARE OF...

Slaughter And The Dogs have been around for a long time, but their latest
album, their first in over 20 years, shows the band in fine form. These
guys
were on tour with the Sex Pistols in '76, folks, and their still kicking
out
the jams with a fist in the air and a sneer on the lips ("Saturday
Night...",
"Hell In New York"). Street punk and blue-collar values coincide with a
good
old-fashioned rock and roll
attitude to give Slaughter And The Dogs a welcomed comeback into a scene
that
needs a good whipping back into fighting shape. It's bands like these
that
give punk rock the balls and the bite back from its recent commercial
bloat.
