  This nifty toy will allow you to speed by police radars and leave them staring
at a bunch of scrambled numbers on their radar detector! The only way to beat
the heat is to play their game! They use radars, we use radar jammers!
  All of you that are trying to get where you're going fast (time is money), go
out and buy yourself a really expensive radar detector, well I really hate to
tell you guys this but a radar detector will not do you any good when the police
are using a "GUN" type radar system the reason is that the signal has to be
there to be detected! With a "GUN" type radar there is no signal until the cop
pulls the trigger and by then it's just to late! You're busted! So, to combat
this you'll just to have to continuously jam their signal with a signal of their
own! Making a radar jammer that won't cost a lot of cash is pretty simple and
fun!
  A cool little semiconductor device called a "GUNN DIODE" will generate jam
microwaves when supplied with 5 to 10 volts of direct current and put in the
right size cavity or resonator. You can use a 8 to 10 terminal regulator to get
the current from your cars power system the fine tuning of the cavity and it's
building is kind of difficuly without good microwave measuring equipment.
Police radars commonly operate on the "K" band at twenty-two ghz and even more
on the "X" band at 10- Five hundred and twenty five ghz. The microwave intruder
alarms and motion detectors at supermarkets contain a gun type
transmitter/reciever that operate at ten MILLIWATS AT 10.FIVE HUNDRED AND TWENTY
FIVE GHZ.THESE UNITS WILL WORK PERFECT AS RADAR JAMMERS. SNOOP AROUND A
SUPERMARKET AND SEE IF YOU CAN'T FIND A COMPANY STICKER FOR THE UNIT PUT IN
THERE AND CALL THEM OR ASK ANY LOCAL "HAMS" (LOOK FOR THE ANTENNAS) AND ASK THEM
WHERE THEY GOT THEIR EQUIPMENT GO THERE AND ASK AROUND FOR A "GUNPLEXER" FOR HAM
RADIO USE. WHEN YOU FINALLY GET YOUR NEW TOY YOU CAN EASILY MOUNT IT IN A
PLASTIC BOX ON YOUR DASH OR IN A NICE WEATHER-PROOF ENCLOSURE BEHIND A PLASTIC
GRILLE (NOT METAL). WHEN YOU GET ON TO THE HIGHWAY SWITCH ON THE BABY! NOW YOU
CAN JAM BUT REMEMBER THAT IT WILL NOT JAM RADAR TO THE SIDE OF THE CAR SO DON'T
SPEED INTO A TRAP! YOU WILL NOTICE THAT PEOPLE WITH THOSE WORTHLESS RADAR
DETECTORS WILL SLOW DOWN WHEN YOU APPROACH LARGE METAL SIGNS OR BRIDGES AND
START ACTING CRAZY YOUR SIGNAL IS BEING REFLECTED AND THEY ARE DETECTING YOUR
SIGNAL.
